Since 1984, the IAT has trained people with disabilities in the field of computer technology, enabling them to gain employment and to lead rich and productive lives. In addition to teaching a computer programming course, the IAT is also a certified Local Cisco Academy and trains adult students in the CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) Course. The IAT is a partnership among the Community College of Allegheny County, local business and industry, and state/federal government.
