The Michigan Career and Technical Institute is a vocational training
facility for adults with disabilities. Located on 72 rural acres, the
residential facility is operated by the state VR program and offers
vocational training in 13 different trade areas. Supportive program
services include on-site rehabilitation counselors, recreational
therapists, nursing staff, social workers and substance abuse
counselors. In addition to dorm facilities, there is a daycare and
housing for students with families attending the school.
