Rehabilitation Services of Northern California's COMPUTERS PLUS! training program prepares over 35 graduates annually with comprehensive business office skills including English and math, Professional Development ("soft skills"), MS Office and many other software applications. The first CARF-accredited agency in Northern California, Rehabilitation Services of Northern California offers comprehensive vocational services including vocational evaluation, case management, transitional employment, and job placement. Rehabilitation Services of Northern California works with people with many types of disabilities, but also has significant investments in specialized staff expertise and equipment for accommodating the visually impaired. Rehabilitation Services of Northern California is a program of Rehabilitation Services of Northern California (RSNC), a 501(C)3 public benefit, private non-profit corporation whose mission is "To promote the dignity and independence of people with disabilities and special needs." RSNC's placement services have been funded through the U.S. Department of Education "Projects With Industry" program since 1977. Two Business Advisory Councils provide extensive guidance and input to program development, ensuring that its consumers learn the skills that employers are looking for.
